Reflektor
I just want to let you all know that the new Arcade Fire album, Reflektor, is on Spotify now. I feel pretty great about it; however, I will admit, when I first listened, I was like, "Wow, they're really channeling their inner Bowie on the title track," which quickly transitioned to, YOU'LL NEVER BE HIM SO STOP TRYING. And then I went on Google and discovered it's actually Bowie on the track so I'm a fucking loser.

haha oh bowie. even with him on the track, they'll never get his sound. it just won't happen
ReplyDeleteI don't think I knew you liked Bowie. They were playing one of his albums at happy hour on Friday night. I was the only one who even recognized it was him and then the only one who claimed to like him. I also just bought my sister a "Babe with the Power" onesie for her future baby tonight. So. Clearly I'm cool? I don't know where I was going with this.
